"So love who you are and believe in your dreams and make them become reality" - Heather Jelly
Hello everyone! My name is Heather Jelly and I am the owner and director of That's Dancing. I began dancing at the age of 16 (IT IS NEVER TOO LATE), competing and then eventually teaching for studios in the surrounding area.
My passion, love and respect for the art of dance is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. I am a firm believer that anyone can learn the art of dance if they are taught with passion, patience, and dedication!
I held onto my dream of owning my own dance studio, but never thought that dream would become a reality. In 1997, That's Dancing became a second home to myself and numerous young girls and boys of all ages. Our studio is a place where everyone is welcomed, respected and appreciated for who they are. At That's Dancing, we work hard to instill many values (respect, confidence, patience, teamwork, dedication, friendship, time management, etc.) while still learning grace, poise and technique.
Throughout my many years of teaching and continued training, my love for dance has only grown stronger. I continue to teach 80% of our weekly classes and enjoy every minute of it. I feel so blessed to know that I can wake up every day and dance. My job is my heart and soul.
I can't begin to express how thankful I am for the dancers and parents who have continued to support That's Dancing. Please do not stop believing in what I do, because I know I will never stop believing that we, at That's Dancing can change your heart forever!
So love who you are and believe in your dreams and make them become reality. Follow your heart, have passion and strength for what you believe in, and remember your never too old to start!
I would like to take this time to thank my amazing family for all their love and support throughout my journey. You are my strength and I love you all so much!
